As the capital of the Costa del Sol, Torremolinos continues to be an extremely important tourist centre in Spain.

The the new Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport is nearby (4km), one of the best in Europe, and there are many excellent motorways that connect Torremolinos with any part of Spain.

With more than 325 days of sun per year and 7 kilometres of extensive golden beaches, you will find a large range of fun filled leisure opportunities here, including golf, tennis, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving and paragliding.

You can stroll through the lively streets and sample authentic Andalusian "pescaito frito" (fried fish), accompanied with good wine, in one of the many restaurants on the way.

In September, there is the celebration of San Miguel. Beginning with “Romeria “, one of the most popular in Andalusia, and 7 days of fairs, when the people of Torremolinos offer their hospitality.
