Dating back to 1563, this hotel was formerly a Franciscan convent. The renovation of the palace has been undertaken carefully to retain its original Spanish style.

Stunning marble columns from the Elvira mountains, Roman in design with Corinthian capitals, and a renaissance fountain, shape the elegant and luxurious hotel courtyard, named a place of "artistic interest" by UNESCO .
