Krótki opis

Hostel Oporto mieści się w statecznym i eleganckim budynku z końca XIX wieku. Hotel znajduje się w zabytkowym i kulturalnym centrum Madrytu, w samym sercu miasta, zaledwie 200 metrów od Puerta del Sol i niedaleko budynku Parlamentu. Jest to bardzo spokojna okolica, monitorowana przez całą dobę.

Informacje o okolicy

Ładne i znane Paseo del Prado i Puerta del Sol znajdują się 150 metrów od hostelu. Idąc w kierunku dworca kolejowego Atocha miną Państwo Muzeum Thyssen Bornemisza, a po przeciwnej stronie ulicy - Muzeum Prado. Oba muzea łączy piękna rzeźba Fontanny Neptuna. Następnie znajduje się ogród botaniczny, położony niedaleko stacji Atocha, z której odjeżdżają pociągi szybkobieżne (AVE - Alta Velocidad Española). W końcu dojdą Państwo do Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej Reina Sofia.
Zaraz za rogiem od naszego hostelu znajduje się teatr La Zarzuela, a kilka kroków dalej - Calle Alcala - ulica, przy której znajduje się Ośrodek Sztuk Pięknych z ładnymi salami wystawowymi i konferencyjnymi.

TAXI
A taxi from Barajas Internacional Airport usually takes about 20 minutes to arrive and can cost between 25-30 € depending on the traffic.
SUBWAY
Madrid has an excellent subway (metro) system that you can take right from the airport. If you do not have a lot of luggage it is easy and inexpensive use and will take you less that 45 minutes to arrive at the Hostal. Follow the signs to the metro in the airport, purchase a one use ticket: 1 € or a 10 use ticket: 6.15 € , from the machines or the ticket window. Take line #8 to the station Mar de Cristal and transfer to line #4 in the direction of Argüelles, transfer to line #2 in Goya and get off at the "Sevilla" stop and the hostal is located just 50m from any of the 2 exits.
FROM THE TRAIN STATIONS:
All of the train stations have subway (metro) stations connected. You just need to travel to the "Puerta del Sol" Stop on line #1. A single use ticket is 1 €.
BY CAR:
If you are arriving by car, the hostal has 2 parking spaces nearby. One is in the Calle Alcalá on the side of the subway stop (Sevilla) and the other is in the Carrera de San Jerónimo, Both are located just 50m from the Hostal.
